This movement teaches how to gain voluntary control over the muscles in the front of the body to release, lengthen, and completely relax tension.  It addresses the Red Light Reflex, that occurs in response to a threat, or from habitually sitting for long periods of time.

Learn how to gain voluntary control of your back muscles along the diagonals to release, lengthen and completely relax tension.  This movement addresses the Green Light Reflex that affects all the muscles in the back by contracting in response to activity or ongoing stress.

Learn how to gain voluntary control of the muscles in the front of your body along the diagonals to release, lengthen and completely relax tension.  This movement addresses the Red Light Reflex freeing up the front of the body.

 Learn how to gain voluntary control of the muscles in the front of your body that result in forward head carriage, rounded shoulders, hunched back, and shallow breathing to release, lengthen and completely relax while cultivating a greater self-awareness to lengthen your stature and breathe deeper.  This movement addresses the Red Light Reflex which occurs in response to a threat, or sitting for long periods of time.

The Side Bend

 Learn how to gain voluntary control of muscles along the sides of your body, that when contracted cause the shoulder to drop the hip to lift up affecting posture, gait and balance, to release, lengthen and completely relax.  This movement addresses the Trauma Reflex that occurs in response to an injury, illness, accident, or surgery.
